Summary of Experience
Jim Knudson, an assurance services partner, has over 20 years of professional experience with McGladrey & Pullen, LLP. He serves companies in a variety of industries, including high technology, software, manufacturing, wholesale distribution and private equity groups. Knudson has significant experience in corporate finance, including transaction support for acquisition-oriented companies and private equity firms.
During his career, Knudson worked as a manager for two years in McGladrey & Pullen’s Office of National Audit and Accounting, where his responsibilities included consultations with various operating offices on accounting and reporting matters. Knudson serves as a partner on a number of public companies and has been the lead partner of initial public offerings, including Dolan Media’s 2007 $193 Million NYSE public offering and Entravision Communications $873 million dollar NYSE public offering. In addition, Knudson served as transaction support services partner for five years, principally performing financial due diligence for private equity groups.

Knudson is a certified public accountant and a member of the California and Minnesota Societies of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a certified management accountant.
Education
Knudson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of North Dakota and a Masters of Business Administration with a finance emphasis from the University of Southern California. Knudson also completed the RSM McGladrey Business Advisor Program at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. |
